About us and these terms
These terms explain how you can use the Global Teams website at www.globalteams.co.uk. By using the website, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.
The website is run by Global Teams, a company registered in United Kingdom under company number 345, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street Covent Garden London WC2H 9JQ. Global Teams is part of Smail Group and was founded by Heather Smail. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Global Teams, and "you" means anyone using the website.
These terms cover the website only. When you work with us, our services are covered by a separate written agreement (see section 5).
Using our website
The website is free to use and is designed for UK businesses and the people who run them. You must be 18 or over to send us an enquiry or brief.
We work hard to keep the website running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available or free from errors. We may update, change, suspend or remove any part of it at any time, for example for maintenance or to improve it.
You're responsible for your own device, internet connection and security software when you visit.
Information on the website
Everything on the website is general information to help you understand how we work. It isn't professional, legal, financial or tax advice, so please don't rely on it as such.
GT levels and skills. The five GT levels and the example skills for each are a guide. Every role is shaped around your business and agreed with you.
Prices. Prices on the website, such as "from £1,295 a month", are indicative starting points and exclude VAT. Your actual price depends on the role, experience, responsibility and hours, and is confirmed in writing before anything starts.
Hours and availability. Full-time and GT Flex hours, start dates and availability are confirmed once your brief is agreed.
We do our best to keep the website accurate and up to date. If you spot something that looks wrong, we'd be grateful if you told us.
Enquiries, briefs and the AI voice assistant
Sending us an enquiry, a brief or a voice conversation starts a conversation, not a contract. Neither of us is committed to anything until we both sign a written agreement.
When you contact us, please:
- give information that is accurate and that you're allowed to share;
- avoid sharing sensitive personal details, such as health information, or other people's personal details unless they're needed;
- avoid sharing confidential business information we don't need at this stage.
The AI voice assistant. "Tell us what's frustrating you" uses an AI assistant, provided by a third-party Vapi, to listen, record and transcribe what you say. We use the transcript to prepare your starting brief before you speak to our team. AI can mishear or misunderstand, so a real person always reviews your brief with you, and the assistant never makes decisions about you. If you'd rather not use it, you can type your answers or email us instead.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle the information you share.
Our services
Our managed service is provided under a separate written agreement, which sets out the role, level, hours, price, notice period and responsibilities on both sides. Nothing on the website is an offer to provide services.
If anything on the website differs from your signed agreement, the agreement applies.
Our content and brand
We, or the people we license from, own the website's content, including its text, design, graphics, images, the Global Teams name and logo, and the names of our GT levels.
You're welcome to view, download and print pages for your own use when considering our services. Please don't copy, reproduce, sell or reuse our content for commercial purposes without our written permission, and don't remove any copyright notices.
Links and fair use
The website links to other sites, such as LinkedIn and Instagram. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or how they use your information.
Please use the website fairly. You must not:
- use it for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful;
- introduce viruses or other harmful code;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or any connected system;
- copy or scrape content or data in bulk using automated tools.
You may link to our homepage, as long as you do it fairly and don't suggest we endorse you when we don't.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Otherwise, we provide the website free of charge and "as is". As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for any loss or damage from using, or being unable to use, the website or relying on its content. This includes loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, data or goodwill.
We don't guarantee the website will be free from viruses, so please use your own security software.
Privacy, changes and contact
Privacy and cookies. Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have, including for cookies.
Changes. We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, so please check back now and then.
Law. These terms are governed by the law of United Kingdom and its courts deal with any dispute.
Contact. Questions about these terms? Email us at hello@globalteams.co.uk. We'd be glad to help.
